8mm x 30m Graphite Synthetic 12-Strand Dyneema ® Winch Rope With Hook

8mm x 30m graphite 12-strand dyneema ® synthetic winch rope with a thimble spliced one end with 2T Safe working load safety hook.  Heat sealed the other end.

  • Overlapping - Steel wire will crush and loose strength if overlapped on a winch drum.  Synthetic winch ropes will not lose strength when overlapped or crushed

  • Heat set and pre-stretched to maintain a firm round cross section and enhanced handling characteristics

The difference between the WLL and breaking strength is important because it determines the safety margin or factor of safety. The safety factor is the ratio of the breaking strength to the WLL, and it represents the degree of safety built into the equipment. The higher the safety factor, the safer the equipment is. The standard safety factor for lifting equipment is usually 8:1 or higher, which means that the breaking strength is at least eight times the WLL.
