Our fenders are made in the traditional way using all new materials. They are then half hitched or crowned (types of knotting) to cover the core. This covering can be done in your choice of rope, the most popular being grade 1 manila which is the best natural fibre rope and is the most environmentally friendly. The synthetic rope that we use is polypropylene black yarn construction rope.
